'Unable to Verify' QR message on ZATCA app

We are experiencing this issue from this morning.

On scanning the QR Code on ZATCA’s app, the message displayed is ‘Unable to verify’. Screenshot given below.

What do we need to correct this?

We are generating the QR Code for the first phase based on the ‘Guide to developed Fatoora compliant QR Code’.

We generated two documents with all details same except the amount in the voucher. The QR Code is successfully scanned for one while it is not scanned for the other. Please help us understand what we need to do to overcome this issue. The XMLs are given below.

the above XML has a QR code which is getting a result correctly on scan

however when the below XML for another document which differes from the above only in the amount is not getting scanned,

If you’re still facing this issue even after updating the mobile app with the last version. Kindly share the XML file for the full invoice with ZATCA via the official channels or your RM for further investigation by the technical team.

Dear @Pankaj_Chibhrani,

Are you scanning the QR code from outside KSA? or using any VPNs?, if yes, then it might be the issue.

As scanning QR codes is restricted to be done only inside KSA for security reasons.

The QR code has been tested successfully and it’s accurate, please make sure to install the latest version of ZATCA app and scanning only from inside KSA.
