We have recently encountered a technical issue within our system, resulting in the Invoice Control Value (ICV) being reset and starting to generate values from 1 again. Unfortunately, this issue affected 27 invoices that were successfully reported to ZATCA.
We are actively seeking guidance and suggestions from the ZATCA community on how to resolve this matter.
please note PIH and Invoice Counter Value are linked with CSID - One CSID should have one sequence of PIH and ICV irrespective of type of documents. There is no upfront validation on the order in which invoices are submitted. It can be submitted in any order. Furthermore, once a document is generated with an Invoice Counter Value (ICV) then that ICV cannot be mentioned on another document. New document should have its own ICV.
If an invoice is rejected then it should be resubmitted as a new invoice with new hash, UUID, ICV and timestamp. Also Invoice counter value should not be re-used.
@szakri , But the invoice are submitted to zatca with new ICV value. during the technical session on Monday I checked this issue with @Ankit_Tiwari, he told us it will not be an issue.
@sameer If you need further clarifications, please join today’s Q&A session.
Dear @Ankit_Tiwari, was the Q&A session held today? I logged in and joined the meeting. i could see few members in the meeting. We waited for some time but eventually the meeting was ended. And I was not able to reconnect to the meeting as the host has not logged in.
Yes @harishkumar the meeting was held yesterday. There was some issue in logging into meeting room initially but the link worked fine after some time and session was conducted as usual.
@Ankit_Tiwari today too???
Yes @harishkumar session was held today as well.
@Ankit_Tiwari can u share the link to participating in the session?
seems we are using an earlier link.
Dear @harishkumar, its not a open session and rather limited by invitation based on priority of enforcement waves. if your company is in forthcoming enforcement waves then your point of contact from ZATCA would receive the invite either for Monday or Thursday session.
