is the uuid automatically generated or is it something I must generate?

Also, do I have to save it on my system?

Thank you for reaching out.

Please note that your solution should automatically create the UUID. Moreover, the UUID should be included in the invoice XML and your solution should store the invoices

It’s a little confusing because when I ran
fatoora -invoiceRequest
it automatically generated the uuid

Please note that the fatoora -invoiceRequest command takes the UUDI from the XML file, not generating a new UUDID. the UUID should be generated by the solution of the taxpayer.
