UUID Clarification

Hi ZATCA Team, The Unique Invoice Identifier ( EInvoice_Data_Dictionary line 5) refer as Globally unique reference identifying the invoice.

We need clarification on the below points:

  1. What is the UUID value for the newly boarded TaxPayer in Live endpoint reporting / clearing Invoice and other notes?
  2. Does UUID increment every time an EGS (E-invoice Generating Solution) post a transaction for Reporting or Clearing regardless of response code?
  3. Does UUID unique to individual Tax Registration?
  4. Do we need to save UUID logs in database level for audit purpose? If Yes, what are the recommended information to save?

uuid is simply an invoice identifier and there are already large number of uuid generqtors online you can use . it is simply a unique value and doesn’t have much restrictions
