Is it valid to create an invoice with multiple tax category? , if yes how to add the categories on the item level and the document level?

Unable to understand multple tax categories for item/line? For example if you have two lines 1st Standard 15% and 2nd Out of scope so your lines having two tax categories and in header you need both in the xml. thanks
