Simulation and Production with same VAT

Hello!

Can we use the simulation and production portals simultaneously with the same VAT number?

Simulation environment = test database
Production environment = other database database

Since they are 2 different environment the answer is Yes.

Additionally, Kindly note that the Simulation environment is replica for the production, our recommendation to start with simulation environment to ensure successfully integration with ZATCA and then to proceed through production, as you will be accountable for the invoices that submitted in production environment.

Yes, you can use the same VAT number and the devices for both FATOORA PORTAL (PRODUCTION) and FATOORA SIMULATION PORTAL (Test) are onboarded in same way.

FATOORA PORTAL: Is the production environment where all actual invoices need to be posted.
FATOORA SIMULATION PORTAL: Is the test environment where all test invoices can be posted and no actual invoice reporting should be done here.
Actual Invoices must be shared on FATOORA PORTAL (Production),
No test invoices should be posted in Production.
All Test Invoice must be shared on FATOORA SIMULATION PORTAL only.
