Should Summary Invoice be dated end of month of supply or the invoice generation date?

We are raising a summary invoice for February. The supply date is 1 Feb to 28 Feb.
We will be generating the invoice on 5th March.
Can we mention the invoice date as 28 Feb or do we have to mention it as 5 March only?

Please clarify
