Please note that the QR code app had some updates recently, there was difficulties for some taxpayers to scan QR codes, and now it is fixed. kindly make sure that you are using the latest version.
Also, based on the published guidelines by ZATCA, there are no specific dimensions about the printed QR code size in the human readable format, but you can refer to the illustrative examples of the E-invoicing simplified guideline.
Simplified guide_En (1).pdf (2.1 MB)
between 3.5cm and 4cm should be enough for the application to recognize it
better always to send a pdf… so thru PDF on screen …not thru printed document …advise customer to resize the page ( Zoom 200 Or Zoom 500 )
100% it be scanned
Hi,
If you are printing then you need to consider paper quality and printer printing quality as well. Now if both are fine then scan yourself and adjust the size accordinly. You will have to increase size more than phase 1 as in that small size was working but for phase2 more data is there so you need to increase.
Download latest ZATCA app and scan if scannable with you then check your ask your customer to use same version.
If possible better to send them soft copy as PDF but if they will try to scan from their computer screen then LCD and their phone qualities also matters.
Thanks
