We are preparing for Phase 2 merchant onboarding under ZATCA’s e-invoicing regime and have the following query:
Is there a way to support embedded onboarding for merchants (i.e., merchants complete all onboarding steps within our platform/portal) rather than being redirected to the Fatoora portal as part of the onboarding process?
Specifically:

Under Phase 2, does ZATCA allow solution providers or marketplaces to trigger the merchant onboarding journey from within their systems (embedded) and perhaps pass the necessary data securely to Fatoora without a full redirect?

If yes, what are the relevant APIs or documentation to support this embedded flow?

Are there any official restrictions (legal/technical) that require the merchant to go through the Fatoora portal directly (redirect) rather than fulfilling onboarding via an integrated workflow?

For reference: The onboarding section in the Fatoora user manual outlines redirect flows for device/CSID onboarding.
Any guidance, shared experiences or best practices would be highly appreciated.
