Please help me regarding this:
- Advance Payment: In POS System we collect advance payments and when we collected advance payment there is not VAT but we issue invoice and when we apply this advance payment to an Item then we calculate VAT for item we are selling.
for example: we collected 100 SR Cash as advance payment and there is no VAT here. When customer come do a service like Hair Extensions and price of hair extensions is SR 150 and VAT for SR 150 is 22.50 SR which totaling to SR 172.50. So we apply Advance Payment of 100 SR and client will pay remaining cash or card.
- Loyalty Points: In our POS system there is loyalty points when customer purchase something we give them loyalty points and accumulated points can be used for paying for Services.
for example: If price of the service is SAR 150 and VAT is SAR 22.50. If client is having 100 points, 1 point is equal to 1 riyal. So we deduct 100 SAR from price and make 50 SAR by putting negative line and then calculate VAT on 50 SAR which is 7.50 SAR.
- Redemptions: Customer buys packages like 10 Hair Cuts. When we sell the package we charge VAT and when client uses 1 session from the package we put a negative line for the same price and deduct one session.
