Foreign Clients where we need to send some information in English - Do we need English in the XML? or can we use our standard PDF in this case and stick to pure arabic XML
As per Article 53 of VAT Regulations, Tax Invoice must be in Arabic. The technical aspects of XML will be in English, however, the data for Tax Invoice (that will be visible once XML is visualized) must be in Arabic. Additionally, English translation can also be provided. So, English translation is allowed on top of Arabic fields in a bilingual invoice.
Yes we understand English translation is allowed but is this “mandatory” if we wish to send a PDF to a client containing both English and Arabic must the XML have Arabic and English or can the XML be only in Arabic and the translation purely for PDF presentation?
@Ankit_Tiwari can you please clarify id we SHOULD include content in the XML in arabic primarily and English may be op[tionally added? or in the XML information can be sent in English or in Arabic but in the print of the invoice, Arabic is must???
@harishkumar As per VAT Regulations, Tax Invoices must be in Arabic language (text that is visible on human readable form of invoice). To provide Arabic and English you can provide the values in same field and use a | separator (please look at sample XMLs in SDK). Content on human readable form of invoice cannot be different from content in XML. If XML has both Arabic and English content then same must be visualized on human readable form.
