Reported with Warning

I integrated my system with ZATCA a year ago, and everything was working fine. However, over the past few days, when I use the Simulation portal for testing, Simplified Invoices are being reported with warnings. I’ve been using the same code since the beginning, and there were no issues earlier. My production server is working fine on the live server with the same code, but I’m encountering this warning only on the Simulation server.

It says Issue in VAT and certifiate but all the correct and I used same.

please see below some of the most common mistakes that relates to the certificates warning:

1- Please make sure that you are using the production CSID and not the compliance CSID for signing invoices.

In the onboarding process, 2 CSIDs (X509 certificates) will be returned.

First one: after requesting the compliance CSID API, (which is the first step to do in onboarding process), we use this certifecate to sign invoices for the compliance checks step (compliance Invoice API), so we only use this certificate to sign invoices for the testing purposes in the compliance checks phase, as invoices in compliane checks are not being sent to ZATCA.

Second one: after requesting the production CSID API, we use this certificate to sign real invoices that are being sent to ZATCA by reporting API for simplified invoices or clearance API for standard invoices, however signing standard invoices is optional & not mandatory.

so what suggested is to make sure that you are using the PCSID X5509 certificate to sign your invoices and check again.

2- If the VAT number that associated with the certificate is not the vat number inside the XML body

3- If the certificate has been generated from simulation and used in production or vice versa

4- If you are using an expired certificate to send/sign invoices

if you are signing your invoices with a certificate & upload it to zatca with a different one, but both of the two are under the same VAT number but still facing “accepted with warning”, then please continue as this warning is not blocking you from the uploading process.

Thank you for your response.

As I mentioned earlier, I designed and developed my system last year, successfully testing and integrating it for many of my customers. Everything was working perfectly. However, I have recently started receiving warnings in the Simulation server for the same program that was functioning flawlessly before.

The same program is working without any issues on the Production server, but it generates warnings in the Simulation environment.

I suspect that something has changed in the Simulation server. Kindly review the issue and let me know if any changes are required.

The same issue is happening to me as well.
I have been using ERP software integrated with ZATCA for over a year, and everything has been running smoothly, with no warnings or issues in both the Simplified and Standard Invoice API responses.

Recently, however, I’ve encountered a warning in the Simplified Invoice API (Simulation Reporting). Here’s the context:

The integration was working perfectly before.
I can confirm there have been no changes to the source code, private key, PCSID, binary security token, or API connection credentials.
I am using the PCSID (not the CCSID) to sign invoices, and the XML is being correctly passed to the API.

Interestingly, this issue only occurs with the Simulation Reporting API. The core Reporting API functions as expected, with no warnings.

Could you please help clarify why this warning might appear in the Simulation API, especially when everything is fine with the core Reporting API?

Hello guys, just FYI, we had similar issue 1 year ago and managed to fix it by “trying” different options.

Please note that we are generating everything ourselves, CSR, XML, signing… we are not using SDK at all.
If you have issues using SDK, then there should be definitely another root cause.

The easiest way to check everything, compare your output with output from SDK and also (what we did), examine the SDK sources to check if you have exactly the same steps while generating.

Sounds weird, but this what we had to do when we had similar warning
