Move server to another place

We need move server which used to share invoices with ZATCA to another place and the server’s IP will changed, should I register again in fatoora portal and generate new CSR, private key, CSID….. or can share the invoices without any issue?

Changing the server’s IP address does not require re-registration or generating a new CSR / CSID, as long as the identity of the EGS Unit has not changed.

Cases where re-registration or new CSR is not required

You can continue using the same keys and certificates without any issues if the following conditions are met:

  • The unit used for issuing invoices is the same registered EGS unit (no change in serial number or logical identifier).
  • The cryptographic pair (private key + CSID) is still valid and has not been revoked.
  • There is no change in the unit’s identity or the taxpayer’s details (VAT/TIN).
  • The change is limited to the IP address or the technical infrastructure (e.g., moving the server to a new location).

In this case, you can continue clearing/reporting invoices using the same configuration, and no issues will occur from ZATCA’s side.
