How many EGC in need for multi-Branch company

If a company has multiple branches and multiple POS terminals with same software solution, what are the EGS (E-Invoicing Generation Solution) registration requirements?

  • Is it required to register an EGS for each branch and each POS terminal?
  • Or is it sufficient to register one EGS per branch, regardless of the number of POS terminals?
  • Or is it sufficient to register one EGS per company, regardless of the number of branchs terminals?

This depends primarily on:

  • Whether there is real-time access for all POS terminals to the same EGS.
  • The division of branches in the ERP system does not affect how register EGSs in the Fatoora platform.
  • A branch is independent when it has its own independent CRN and the taxpayer has a tax group; in this case, independent EGSs must be registered for it.

You usually receive the message when the taxpayer has active CRNs registered with Zatca and no invoices are being captured from them.
