# How is the IssueDate & IssueTime defined?

Hello @Ankit.K.Tiwari , hope you are well.

Q. How is the IssueDate & issueTime defined?

Do we consider them as the Date & Time when all the internal approvals in the company are completed and the invoice is validated/confirmed, ready to be sent to the customer? Also known as the Confirmation Date.

Or,

Do we consider it as the Invoice Date, which is when we aim to recognize the revenue and account for the receivable, which is the same as the Accounting Date in the system? This is irrespective of how much time it takes to validate/confirm them, accordingly, it will be only sent to the customer once it is confirmed.

@Yatin Invoice Issue Date and Invoice Issue Time depends refers to the point in time when invoice is actually generated as final document. Please note that revenue recognition and issuing of tax invoice are independent processes (for example, receipt of payment in advance requires issuance of a Tax Invoice however for accounting purposes it will not be recognized as revenue).

Hello sir!

can you please ellaborate the the time period in which an invoice should be reported to Zatca  
and this period of time will be started from which time  
like if a B2C invoice should be reported to zatca with in 24 hours of creation  
then what will be the creation time from which we start calculate our 24 hours
